Captain Corey King began his employment with the sheriff's office on December 16, 2009 as a Detention Officer. He was promoted to a Deputy Sheriff in September 2014. He was promoted to Detention Captain on 05/01/2017. Captain King oversees the daily operation of the detention center and is responsible for the detention staff and inmates. Captain King also serves on Middle Flint Behavioral Health Board.
