Captain Trina Johnson has been employed with the sheriff's office since September 28, 2005. She began as a dispatcher and was promoted to Communication Captain on January 1, 2017. She is responsible for the daily operations of the communications center including the Georgia Crime Information Center computer system.
Officers in our communication division are responsible for receiving and dispatching all calls for service for the sheriff's office, emergency medical service, fire department, and Roberta Police Department. These dispatchers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to take calls and direct emergency services where they are needed. The Communications Divison consists of a Captain and 6 dispatchers
